Soldiers assigned to the 1st Squadron, 1st Cavalry Regiment, 2nd Brigade Combat Team, 1st Armored Division, demonstrate proficient close quarter combat skills by tactically entering a room and clearing the area of mannequins, posing as hostile personnel, during a training exercise at the Oro Grande Shoot House Training Facility in Fort Bliss, Texas, Nov. 13. The “Iron Brigade” soldiers conducted the close quarters combat training in conjunction with the Network Integration Evaluation 13.1 exercise to assess the Nett Warrior and Joint Tactical Radio System Rifleman Radios while performing combat training.
