Rescue defenders assigned to the 920th and 943d Security Forces Squadrons put on HH-60G Pave Hawk helicopter gunner belts during a familiarization training exercise June 13, 2022, at Davis-Monthan Air Force Base, Arizona. Gunner belts are used as a safety device, securing aircrew flying within the Pave Hawk. These rescue defenders underwent a multi-day training exercise focused on the integration of security forces Airmen into combat search and rescue operations.
