The Western High School Panthers, in Russiaville, Ind., took the field in Indiana National Guard, camouflaged jerseys Friday, Sept. 28, 2012, as part of the school’s military appreciation night. The Panthers defeated the Eastern High School Comets, 35 to 19. The Indiana National Guard’s Recruiting and Retention Command offered the camouflaged jerseys to high schools around the state. “It was an honor to represent the National Guard and everything they do for us,” said Panthers running back Hudson Featherstone of wearing the specialized jerseys.
