Iowa Army National Guard Soldiers assigned to Company C, 2nd Battalion, 147th Assault Helicopter Battalion, walk to a rally point at Camp Guernsey Joint Training Center in Wyoming on May 17, 2023. The 2-147th AHB, based in Boone, Iowa, completed a two-week annual training period at Camp Guernsey. They practiced door gunnery with M240 machine guns and also worked with an Iowa infantry unit to familiarize them with aircraft, practice air assault movements and coordinate supply and equipment drops.
