Julie Rise, the assistant head nurse in the Mother/Baby Unit at Madigan Army Medical Center on Joint Base Lewis-McChord, Wash., moves equipment and a bedside table into place in a newly remodeled patient room on the third floor on May 25, as new rooms are prepared for patient use in the coming week. The upgrades to the room include better lighting, new finishes, storage spaces, a flat screen TV, sofa/beds and a roomier, more accessible bathroom.
