U.S. Marine Corps Staff Sgt Ian Ferro, a Georgia native and a reconnaissance Marine with 2d Reconnaissance (Recon) Battalion, 2d Marine Division participated in Exercise Caribbean Urban Warrior in Savaneta, Aruba. Caribbean Urban Warrior is a bilateral training exercise that allows 2d Recon to expand its knowledge and proficiency when operating in littoral and coastal regions. Caribbean Coastal Warrior continues to increase global interoperability between the U.S. Marines and the Dutch Marines as well as Caribbean Urban Warrior, an annual training evolution conducted on Camp Lejeune, North Carolina.
