U.S. Marine Corps Capt. Mitchell Moore, a platoon commander with the Maritime Special Purpose Force, 26th Marine Expeditionary Unit (MEU), conducts a communications check prior to a raid as part of Composite Training Unit Exercise (C2X), Atlantic Ocean, May 23, 2023. The raid was part of a training scenario testing the MEU’s ability to develop plans using the rapid response planning process to execute complex missions in a contested environment.
