Army Reserve Lt. Gen. Jeffrey W. Talley, chief of the Army Reserve and commanding general, U.S. Army Reserve Command, talks with local and military officials Nov. 11 about the devastation caused form Hurricane Sandy in Breezy Point, N.Y. Breezy Point, N.Y., in southern Queens, has a population of approximately 4,337 year around and 12,000 during peak season saw massive devastation as a result of the storm. Lt. Gen. Talley toured areas most effected by the storm and visited Army Reserve soldiers from the 401st, 410th, and 431st Quartermaster Detachments that are all conducting water removal operations.
