7th Mission Support Command

U.S. Army Spc. The 793rd joined Sailors from U.S. Navy Cargo Handling Battalion One and Soldiers from the 34th Infantry Division of the Minnesota National Guard, demonstrating the value of interoperability between Allies and partners, as well as between U.S. military branches and components.

Immediate Response 23 takes place May 22 through June 2nd, and begins with the deployment of a combat credible force consisting of the Minnesota National Guard’s 34th Infantry Division Headquarters, an Infantry Battalion Task Force, and other enablers from the U.S. to Europe. After completing reception, staging, and onward movement (RSOM), the units draw equipment from Army Prepositioned Stocks, and conduct multi-national combined arms training in the Balkans. Counties participating in Immediate Response include: Albania, Bosnia and Herzegovina, Bulgaria, Croatia, Greece, Kosovo, North Macedonia, Montenegro, Slovenia, and the United States. Immediate Response includes approximately 2,800 U.S. and 7,000 multi-national participants takes place primarily in Albania, Bosnia and Herzegovina, Bulgaria, Kosovo, Montenegro, North Macedonia, and Slovenia.
