Biologists for Swinomish Indian Tribal Community, Washington State Department of Fish and Wildlife, and Seattle District Corps of Engineers, inspect and document dead Chum during a site visit, April 20, 2023. Staff with the Swinomish Tribal Community and WDFW co-manage the fishery resources. The presence of the dead fish, including endangered salmon, led to emergency repairs to the McGlinn Island Jetty that begin May 22, 2023.
