Lance Cpl. Christopher Gomez is a motor transportation operator with support company, 8th Engineer Support Battalion, 2nd Marine Logistics Group, II Marine Expeditionary Force. Gomez, a native of Lindsay, Calif., is currently working to clear debris from walkways and public spaces in Breezy Point, N.Y. in order to help residents return to normalcy following the devastation of Hurricane Sandy.
