Board members from the Fort Hamilton Citizens Action Committee (FHCAC), held their quarterly meeting with COL Brian Jacobs, USAG Fort Hamilton Commander on May 10, 2023, at Garrison Headquarters. The FHCAC continues their mission of supporting the garrison, while fostering communication and understanding between the military and the local community. In the past, the FHCAC successfully prevented the closure of Fort Hamilton Military Installation by mobilizing the community and working closely with government officials. As a result, the installation remains open and operational, serving a vital role as the only active-duty Army installation in the New York City area.
