U.S. Air Force 40th Expeditionary Airlift Squadron loadmasters participate in combat offload training at Ali Al Salem Air Base, Kuwait, May 5, 2023. This capability allows for cargo to be offloaded into locations that may lack the infrastructure or equipment to facilitate a standard offload. Combat offloading greatly enhances the logistical flexibility of allied forces in the U.S. Central Command area of responsibility. (U.S. Air Force Photo by Senior Airman Devan Halstead)
