(May 5, 2023) Sailors assigned to the Mercy-class hospital ship USNS Comfort (T-AH 20), Expeditionary Medical Unit (EMU) Juliet, and Naval Medical Forces Atlantic participate in a “Clean the Base Day” event onboard Naval Support Activity (NSA) Hampton Roads - Portsmouth Annex. The event supported the 2023 Navy Earth Day theme, “Invest in Our Planet, Protect Our Future,” which is part of a larger, sustained outreach effort to highlight how environmental stewardship enables mission readiness and community resilience.
