U.S. Marines with 2nd and 4th Air Naval Gunfire Liaison Company conduct digital fires with elements from the United Kingdom, Norway, and Finland during exercise Burmese Chase aboard Marine Corps Base Camp Lejeune, North Carolina, April 27, 2023. The purpose of this training is to communicate with allied nations over the advanced field artillery tactical data system through the artillery systems cooperation agreement and variable message format. Burmese Chase is an annual U.S. led, multi-lateral exercise that includes training on integration of ground and air fires, infantry tactics and naval gunfire alongside NATO allies and partners.
