U.S. Marine Corps Cpl. Juan Aguilar, a network administrator with 7th Engineer Support Battalion assigned to Marine Corps Engineer Detachment - Palau, rotates a Very Small Aperture Terminal (VSAT) to establish a satellite connection on Peleliu, Republic of Palau, April 26, 2023. The VSAT provides a network connection for the Marines on Peleliu to enable communication capabilities. During this rotational deployment, Navy Seabees and Marine Corps engineers undertake infrastructure projects which benefit local populations in the Indo-Pacific region and enhance the United States’ ability to render support and aid in response to disasters or other crises.
