Lt. Col. Edwin R. Rich, commanding officer, Marine Aviation Logistics Squadron 24, cuts the ceremonial birthday cake while Navy Lt. Michael May, assistant supply officer, MALS-24 holds a plate ready. The ceremonial cake cutting was done with both Marines and sailors during the MALS-24 Navy and Marine Corps Birthday Ball, Oct. 26. This is the first time the squadron has hosted a joint birthday ball to celebrate both the Navy and Marine Corps birthday.
