Montana National Guard Soldiers and Airmen participated in the Incident Qualification Card training at Fort Harrison, April 19. The training, led by instructors from the Montana Department of Natural Resources and Conservation, is an interagency certification that qualifies personnel to support wildfire response for one year.
To ensure the Montana National Guard is able to quickly respond to a potential wildfire activation, more than 390 guardsmen will be Incident Qualification Card certified by the end of April.
