Maj. Gen. Jonathan M. Stubbs, the adjutant general of the Arkansas National Guard, met with the Guatemalan, Honduran, and El Salvadorian military commanders participating in CENTAM Guardian 2023, during final briefings, March 26, 2023.
Stubbs emphasized the long-lasting positive effects for the cooperation between the partner nations beyond the training exercise to create a foundation that facilitates real time operations for humanitarian aid and natural disaster assistance.
CENTAM Guardian 2023 is a joint military training focused on analyzing procedures and developing strategies to combat Transnational Criminal Organizations by emphasizing interagency coordination and utilizing the exercise for cooperative action and information sharing to strengthen regional security.
CENTAM Guardian 2023 is an annual Army-led joint, interagency, a multi-national partnership-building exercise designed to build capacity and capabilities with Central American partner nations.
