U.S. Marine Corps Lance Cpl. Joshua Wurtz, a member of 4th Marine Regiment, executes pull-ups during a squad competition in celebration of their 109th anniversary on Camp Schwab, Okinawa, Japan, April 14, 2023. The regiment was first activated in Puget Sound, Washington, April 16, 1914, and has seen action in most major U.S. conflicts since its inception. 4th Marines continues to modernize and prepare for potential future conflicts while working closely with allies and partners to support a free and open Indo-Pacific.
