U.S. Marines with 4th Marine Regiment carry a Medium Tactical Vehicle Replacement tire during a squad competition in celebration of their 109th anniversary on Camp Schwab, Okinawa, Japan, April 14, 2023. The regiment was first activated in Puget Sound, Washington, April 16, 1914, and has seen action in most major U.S. conflicts since its inception. 4th Marines continues to modernize and prepare for potential future conflicts while working closely with allies and partners to support a free and open Indo-Pacific.
