U.S. Marine Corps Capt. Stephen W. Dukes, an instructor with the U.S. Naval Justice School, Newport, Rhode Island, swims during the “Tarawa Atoll” swimming event during the first Training and Education Command Fittest Instructor Competition at The Basic School on Marine Corps Base Quantico, Virginia, April 11, 2023. The Marines completed a 100-meter swim, followed by a set of unbroken hand release push-ups. Each Marine was scored based on their individual Physical Fitness Test push up standards, those that did not complete their push up requirements had to restart the entire event.
