Project supervisor, builder, Petty Officer 1st Class Billy Thomas, of Naval Mobile Construction Battalion 1, looks over the construction of a chapel at Al Taqaddum, Iraq, Feb. 7. The Seabees are rebuilding the chapel that was recently destroyed by an electrical fire. NMCB 1 is part of more than 1,400 Soldiers, Sailors and Marines supporting critical construction efforts in the Al Anbar province of Iraq and is also currently deployed to several locations in the Middle East and Afghanistan providing responsive military construction support to U.S. military and coalition operations.
