Builder, Petty Officer 3rd Class Richard Pemberton, a Seabee with Naval Mobile Construction Battalion 1, secures soffits to a prefabricated truss at Al Taqaddum, Iraq, Feb. 7. The Seabees are rebuilding a chapel that was recently destroyed by an electrical fire. NMCB 1 is part of more than 1,400 Soldiers, Sailors and Marines supporting critical construction efforts in the Al Anbar province of Iraq and is also currently deployed to several locations in the Middle East and Afghanistan providing responsive military construction support to U.S. military and coalition operations.
