The Military Sealift Command fleet replenishment oiler USNS Amelia Earheart (T-AKE 6) conducts a vertical replenishment with ships from the George Washington Carrier Strike Group. The George Washington Carrier Strike Group is the U.S. Navy's only continuously forward-deployed carrier strike group, based out of Yokosuka, Japan, and is currently conducting a routine patrol in the western Pacific region supporting regional security and stability of the vital Asia-Pacific region.
