U.S. AIR FORCE ACADEMY, Colo. – The Cadet Chapel seen under an external 150-foot tall white environmental shelter as repair and restoration work continues on March 30, 2023 at the U.S. Air Force Academy in Colorado Springs, Colo. Contractors lowered the final panel of the U.S. Air Force Academy’s Cadet Chapel during a ceremony where the aluminum panel was the 1,008th piece that contractors removed and signified a transition to the reconstruction phase of the chapel’s restoration.
