Dr. Solomon Biruk, woreda veterinarian, teaches local animal health assistants during a veterinary civic action program (VETCAP) Oct. 24, 2012, in Hirna, Ethiopia. VETCAPs strengthen the capabilities of community-based animal health workers, ensure livestock health, enhance economic stability and develop trust and confidence with partner nations.
