Sgt. 1st Class Johan Mackie [Left], civil affairs senior sergeant, 21st Theater Sustainment Command, and Pfc. Pawel Oleszczuk [Right], Polish army soldier, receive tokens of appreciation from Marisz Blaszczak [Middle], Polish Minister of National Defense, during the Polish Forces MMA Gala, Walke Mamy We Kwri 3 [We Have Fight In Our Blood 3] March 31, Warsaw, Poland. Mackie is the first foreign fighter to be invited to fight in the gala. The tournament is the third edition of a project started and organized by the Polish Ministry of National Defense in order to promote and popularize all martial arts amongst their Soldiers and society.
