Navy Diver 1st Class Walter Dishongh, left, passes a buoy to Navy Diver 3rd Class Joe Ziemba, both assigned to Mobile Diving and Salvage Unit (MDSU) 1 after completing a dive to to set up the assessment and identification of mine susceptibility system. MDSU-1 is assigned to Commander, Task Group (CTG) 56.1 and provides mine countermeasure, explosive ordnance disposal, salvage diving, counter-terrorism, and force protection for the U.S. 5th Fleet area of responsibility.
