230317-N-NT811-1001 SAN DIEGO - (March 17, 2023) – Sailors aboard the Arleigh Burke-class guided-missile destroyer USS Sterett (DDG 104) take in and stow all lines as the ship gets underway from U.S. Naval Station San Diego for surface warfare advanced tactical training (SWATT). SWATT is the Navy’s premier advanced tactical training even for the surface fleet to ensure units are competent, proficient and ready to deploy forward.
