(Feb. 7, 2023) - Hospital Corpsman 1st Class Ashley Thomson, a substance abuse counselor at Naval Hospital Jacksonville, discusses patient room assignments with Sam Arnaiz, a data control clerk at the hospital’s Substance Abuse Rehabilitation Program (SARP). Thomson, a native of Durand, Michigan, says, “The Substance Abuse Rehabilitation Program provides therapy and treatment for active duty, retirees and dependent patients diagnosed with substance abuse disorders.” Patients can self-refer or be referred.
