LTC Ray Willson, MSG Melody Pavur, and MSG Robert Whitney from Team SFL were in Colorado on March 14-15, 2023. At their first stop in Denver, the team connected with Civilian Aides to the Secretary of the Army Bill Hanzlik and CSM Michael Downin from the U.S. Army Denver Recruiting Battalion. The team then headed off to Longmont, Colorado, where they met with the Veterans Community Project and helped build tiny homes as part of a temporary housing community for homeless veterans.
