A U.S. Air Force tactical air control party Airman from the 82nd Expeditionary Air Support Operation Squadron watches as an AC-130 "Green Beam" marks the location of danger close for various weapons at Udairi Range, Kuwait, March 14, 2023. TACPs are the bridge between units on the ground and aircraft providing fire support overhead. Thanks to the efficient and close support provided by TACPs, soldiers fighting on the ground can accurately call in fire support on opposing forces, safely bringing increased security to the AOR.
