U.S. Air Force tactical air control party specialists from the 82nd Expeditionary Air Support Operations Squadron review procedures to call in fire support from an AC-130 during training at Udairi Range, Kuwait, March 14, 2023. TACPs are the bridge between units on the ground and aircraft providing fire support overhead. Thanks to the efficient and close support provided by TACPs, soldiers fighting on the ground can accurately call in fire support on opposing forces, safely bringing increased security to the AOR.
