A member of an explosive ordnance disposal team assigned to Route Clearance Patrol-29, Alpha Company, 4th Brigade Special Troops Battalion, 4th Infantry Brigade Combat Team, 1st Infantry Division, rigs an elevated pipe with explosive charges in the mountains of Paktika province, Oct. 9, 2012.
