Fifteen New York Army National Guard Soldiers assigned to Combined Joint Task Force - Horn of Africa receive their U.S. citizenship

U.S. Army Lt. Col. Shawn Tabankin, the commander of 1st Battalion, 69th Infantry Regiment, presents a framed 69th Infantry Regiment flag to Jonathan Goodale Pratt, the United States Ambassador to Djibouti, following a naturalization ceremony at the United States Embassy in Djibouti City, Djibouti, Mar. 10. During the ceremony, 15 New York Army National Guard Soldiers assigned to Combined Joint Task Force - Horn of Africa, became United States citizens. The ceremony is the first of its kind in the newly constructed U.S. Embassy, and is a historic event for CJTF-HOA, who has never before seen so many of its members become naturalized citizens at once.
