Airman 1st Class Timothy White, 96th Weather Squadron, ties the string that will carry the data-gathering radiosonde around a weather balloon March 1 at Eglin Air Force Base, Fla. The balloons carry the radiosonde that gathers information like GPS coordinates, wind speed, direction, height, ascension rate, pressure, temperature and humidity.
