OMAN (February 18, 2023) – U.S. Marines assigned to Fleet Anti-Terrorism Security Team Central Command (FASTCENT) and members of the Royal Omani Police Special Task unit practice clearing rooms during close quarter combat (CQB) training as part of exercise Invincible Sentry 23 in Oman, Feb 18. IS23 is a recurring exercise held with different partner nations each year within U.S. Central Command’s area of responsibility to evaluate the readiness and capabilities of U.S. and Omani forces responding to a regional emergency.
