Tommy Pierce, a golfer on the Tandemloc Inc. golf team, putts a golf ball at the team’s final hole during the Carolina Classic Golf Tournament Oct. 21 at Marine Corps Air Station Cherry Point. The tournament is hosted by the Marine Corps Scholarship Foundation every year to help raise money for children of Marines who are in low income families and children of wounded or deceased Marines to help pay for college. More than 200 participants competed in this year’s 14th annual golf tournament on Cherry Point and Marine Corps Base Camp Lejeune, N.C.
