Sgt. Sebastian Crawford Forward's Single Marine Program coordinator, and his horse get reacquainted before beginning the lesson by doing a few laps around the training area during a weekly lesson at the Dilmun Club, of Bahrain. Crawford learns to run and jump horses as an alternative pastime. Crawford explores these types of recreational opportunities to experience and confidently recommend them to other single Marines and sailors that will promote a deeper appreciation of Middle Eastern culture, language and unique regional characteristics.
