Spc. Alexander Fitzpatrick stands with Col. Robert Gregg and Command Sgt. Maj. Jason Hopkins, Commander and Command Sergeant Major of Joint Task Force Medical 374 (JTF MED 374). Fitzpatrick, a 68K Laboratory Specialist with JTF MED 374, who is deployed to Iraq was able to complete 45 college credit hours during his 9 month deployment. Fitzpatrick worked in the lab as the subject matter expert on core lab testing for the Role 3 and JTF MED 374 direct reporting units. He later volunteered to work in the Tactical Operation Center for the Role 3 Hospital and JTF MED 374 where he processed information used to make decisions that would later impact JTF MED 374 missions. The 15 classes Fitzpatrick took while deployed earned him a Bachelor of Science in Health Sciences from the American Military University.
