James Hartley, 136th Contingency Response Flight (CRF), prepares for take-off to Carolina, Puerto Rico for a Critical Response Exercise Feb. 24, 2023, The objective of the exercise is to facilitate a bare-base opening to allowing airflow for the C-130J Super Hercules. Critical response generally has two different missions, in this exercise the possibility of hurricane support or in a more global response, to a wartime scenario, Airmen practiced decentralizing assets and establishing airfields to aid war efforts and communication.
