U.S. Navy Sailors assigned to the USS Mesa Verde (LPD 19) practice detainee processing during a Visit, Board, Search and Seizure exercise part of PHIBRON/MEU integration (PMINT) Mesa Verde while at sea on Jan. 27, 2023. As the first at-sea exercise, PMINT serves as an opportunity to strengthen integration between the 26th Marine Expeditionary Unit and U.S. Naval battle staff, gaining proficiency for elements of the Marine Air Ground Task Force.
