USS Arizona Memorial Ferry Boat #39-1, filled with visitors, returns to dock. Seen in the distance is the USS John Finn (DDG-113). The two boats are named after Medal of Honor recipient John William Finn, a U.S. Navy sailor who received the United States military' highest decoration by manning a machine gun from an exposed position throughout the attack on Pearl Harbor in World War II despite being repeatedly wounded.
The USS John Finn (DDG-113) was commissioned on July 15, 2017 at Joint Base Pearl Harbor-Hickam then home-ported to San Diego. She is now on her way to her new homeport in Yokosuka, Japan. (U.S. Navy Photo by Joanne Hayag)
