Col. Martin Wohlgemuth, commander, Area Support Group - Kuwait, and a Kuwaiti officer cut a cake together, Camp Arifjan, Kuwait, February 23, 2023. Two guest instructors from the Mubarak Al-Abdullah Joint Command and Staff College, within the Kuwait Ministry of Defense, give a presentation and answers questions. To commemorate the 32nd anniversary of the Liberation of Kuwait and Operation Desert Storm, the lecture covers the political, military, and guerilla resistance efforts around the 1990-91 invasion and occupation of Kuwait by Saddam Hussein's forces. Col. Wohlgemuth and Command Sgt. Maj. Leon Black, senior enlisted advisor, Area Support Group - Kuwait, host the guest lecturers, and afterwards all attendees enjoy cake and conversation at the Camp Arifjan MWR.
