The Afghan Special Operations Unit, supported by coalition troops, detained a Taliban explosives dealer on an operation in Zharay district, Kandahar province, Afghanistan, Sept. 3, 2012. The explosive dealer was detained for being the one responsible for the purchase and distribution of explosive and bomb-making material for the Taliban. The Afghan Special Operations Unit also detained three insurgents suspected of being accomplices and recovered 18 kilograms (40 pounds) of narcotics.
