Members of the Defense POW/MIA Accounting Agency (DPAA) conduct an honorable carry at Joint Base Pearl Harbor-Hickam, Hawaii, Feb. 16, 2023. The remains are being returned from the Solomon Islands where Allied forces faced Imperial Japan during World War II. The remains will be analyzed at the DPAA laboratory for possible identification.
