Tech. Sgt. Connor Cunio, a maintenance noncommissioned officer in the 157th Air Refueling Wing, New Hampshire Air National Guard, registers to compete in the New Hampshire Army National Guard Best Warrior Competition, Feb. 9, at the Edward Cross Training Complex in Pembroke, N.H.
Cunio was one of two Airmen from the 157th ARW competing in the competition. Other competitors came from the 197th Field Artillery Brigade, 54th Troop Command, and the New Hampshire’s partner nations El Salvador and Cabo Verde.
“It feels awesome, and humbling to be here,” said Cunio. “My unit was very willing to let me attend this competition and hopefully I can make them proud.”
