U.S. Marine Corps Cpl. Emily Figueroa, a vocalist with the III Marine Expeditionary Force Band, performs during the 25th anniversary of the ‘Friendship Through Music’ concert Jan. 28 at the Ginowan Civic Hall in Okinawa, Japan, Jan. 28, 2023. This year's iteration of the concert series was the first full, unrestricted performance since the beginning of the COVID-19 pandemic. The concert series is an annual joint performance between the Japan Ground Self-Defense Force 15th Brigade Band and the III MEF Band.
