Communications experts from the Minnesota National Guard, 133rd Airlift Wing and 148th Fighter Wing established a camp, including tents and communications equipment, in subzero temperatures in conjunction with the 2023 John Beargrease Sled Dog Marathon. The soldiers and airmen established radio, network and cellular connectivity using a Joint Communications Platform, Dismounted Strike Kit and Compact Ready Deployable. The winter exercise allowed soldiers and airmen to set up, operationalize and troubleshoot equipment in adverse conditions in a remote location. (U.S. Air National Guard photo by Audra Flanagan)
